Since the I/O Module models (P/Ns IOM0002400 and IOM0023000) is in phase out CAREL
has developed a new IO module.
io.module is the new device developed by Carel for data acquisition and activation of outputs
managed by a Carel supervisor or generic Building Management System (BMS).
Introduction of the new product enables the use of the Modbus protocol, meaning io.module
can be integrated into a higher number of applications. The Carel protocol is obviously also
supported.
There are also four temperature inputs, which can be configured as NTC or PT1000, four
digital inputs and two active probe inputs, which can be configured as 4-20 mA, 0-5 V or 0-
10V.
An important new feature is the availability of six electromechanical relays.
The serial communication parameters, including the choice of the protocol used, can be set
using the easy-to access switches on io.module.
The offering is completed by maps for Carel supervisors for the variables made available via
